Course content breakdown

Your Learning Pathway

We will meet weekly on a group call, covering essential topics and deepening knowledge After each call, resources and reflections will be shared, to give you momentum and turn this month together into a powerful activator for your business.

In the first week, you’ll explore the foundations of your practice: who you serve, what you offer, and how your existing skills, training and lived experience shape the way you work. Rather than trying to appeal to everyone, you’ll begin clarifying your ideal client, your practitioner identity, and the specific value you bring through BBTRS® and other holistic modalities. This week is about finding language that feels clear, grounded and authentic, so potential clients can understand what you do and why it matters.

This week focuses on turning your skills into clear, structured offers. You’ll look at different ways to package your work, including single sessions, multi-session packages, group workshops, online programmes, retreats or blended offerings. You’ll also explore pricing, boundaries and the client journey, helping you understand how someone moves from discovering your work to feeling safe and confident enough to book. The goal is to create offers that are both accessible to clients and sustainable for you as a practitioner.

In week three, you’ll learn how to communicate your work online in a way that builds trust without overpromising. We’ll look at the key pages and content every practitioner website needs, how to explain breathwork and trauma-informed practice in accessible language, and how to write messaging that reflects both professionalism and depth. This week also explores social proof, testimonials, practitioner bios, ethical claims, and the small details that help potential clients feel reassured before making contact.

The final week brings everything together into a practical marketing and visibility plan. You’ll explore simple, sustainable ways to grow your practice, including referrals, partnerships, local visibility, email marketing, social media and community-building. Rather than chasing every platform or tactic, you’ll identify the channels that make most sense for your work, your audience and your capacity. By the end of the programme, you’ll have a grounded 90-day action plan to help you move forward with clarity, consistency and confidence.

After the final group session, you’ll receive a dedicated 1:1 mentorship call to review your marketing action plan and refine your next steps. This is an opportunity to receive personalised feedback on your positioning, offer, messaging and chosen marketing activities, with space to identify what feels clear, what may need strengthening, and where to focus your energy first. Together, we’ll turn your plan into a practical set of priorities, helping you leave the programme with greater confidence, direction and accountability as you continue building or developing your practice.

Matti Ryan

Matti Ryan is a marketing specialist working at the intersection of health, wellbeing and business growth — and, as a certified BBTRS® practitioner and founder of their own wellbeing business, they understand this world from the inside as well as the outside. Their career has focused on innovation and digital transformation, developing and launching projects designed to diversify audiences and grow income for organisations including Apple, Meta, The King's Trust, the NHS, and Path Retreats — helping to shape and deliver initiatives funded and backed by some of the world's most recognised brands.

Through their work with wellbeing businesses and practitioners, Matti noticed a consistent pattern: people invest deeply in training for the work they're most passionate about — the hands-on, human side of practice — but rarely in the skills needed to build a sustainable business around it. Activate & Grow was created to close that gap, bringing practical, grounded marketing expertise to practitioners so they can be found, trusted, and booked by the people they're best placed to help.

What You’ll Gain

Learn to guide online trauma-informed breathwork

  • Learn to structure and deliver safe 1:1 online breathwork sessions with clients
  • Develop your knowledge on the physiology of the breath and the integral psychology behind pacing trauma work
  • Obtain practical skills for guiding virtual clients with powerful self-bodywork
  • Receive professional guidance on how to accurately communicate the benefits of BBTRS® to your clients
  • This training counts towards the required online unit of the advanced certification required for in-person delivery of Biodynamic Breathwork

You’ll leave with a method, not just techniques—so you know what to do, when, and why.

The BBTRS® Method

Six elements. One coherent system.

The BBTRS® method is built on six core elements that work together to safely release trauma stored in the body

  • Breath: Use deep, connected breathing to activate the nervous system and access stored tension for full body release and balance
  • Movement: Engage natural, expressive movement to release held energy and restore flow through the entire body
  • Sound: Apply conscious, skilled touch to support safe physical release and reconnect blocked areas of the body
  • Touch: Use sound and vocalization to loosen tension in the body and enhance the release process
  • Emotion: Safely access and integrate emotions without overwhelm, supporting true release rather than reactivation
  • Meditation: Cultivate awareness and integration through meditation, grounding and supporting the entire process
The BBTRS® Method

It’s not about pushing for big releases or altered states. BBTRS® takes a gentler path — we stay within the body’s window of tolerance, working slowly and with consent, so the nervous system can truly integrate change rather than be overwhelmed.

Yes. It is often possible to attend missed sessions on future cohorts, or to catch-up via session recordings.

Yes—the online certification must be completed by anyone aiming to achieve the Advanced Professional Practitioner Certification (for those on the practitioner track). Participants seeking an experience focused on their own personal development are also welcome and will find great benefit from attending.

Not necessarily. BBTRS® avoids forced catharsis; we work within your capacity using pacing, consent, and titration. Strong sensations can arise, but we let the body lead so change integrates rather than overwhelms your system. You can always slow down, observe, or pause—no force, no breath holds.

Real people. Real Experiences.

Grounded, respectful, and effective. Finally, a trauma-informed path that’s practical.
