Greetings to all fellow seekers of healing and self-discovery.
Over my 25-year journey as a therapist specializing in bodywork and breathwork, I have often been asked, “How do you find the energy and stamina to travel the world, working with thousands of people, both online and in person?” The answer, for me, is simple: the purpose of giving and being in service.
In my line of work, we believe that giving is receiving, and greatness is service. It’s the unwavering commitment to being in service for the highest purpose and progress of those we interact with that fuels our journey. It’s a profound recognition that when we give without expectation, we tap into an infinite source of energy and creativity.
I vividly recall a time when I embarked on a remarkable journey, teaching hundreds of people in almost back-to-back, intensive, in-person trainings, each spanning 5-7 days, in five different countries, all within just two months. It was an exhilarating and challenging endeavor, to say the least. At the end of this marathon of service, I found myself feeling not exhausted, but surprisingly fresh and profoundly content.
The secret to my sustained energy and vitality, I realized, lies in my unwavering connection to my source, my vision, and my purpose, which is to be in service and create a field of intimacy for others to heal and transform their lives. This understanding changed the course of my work and my life, revealing that the true magic happens when we give unconditionally, when we extend our support and dedicate ourselves to service.
In the act of selflessly giving and being in service, we discover the ability to move mountains. We become leaders and a source of inspiration for others. But it starts with loving ourselves and our community, and from that love, we can extend our arms to those in need. When we are in service, we connect with an infinite source of creativity, and the wellspring of our own potential deepens and widens.
The greatest service we can offer to the world is the authentic expression of our purpose and the willingness to share it unreservedly. Our journey, whether as a therapist, bodyworker, or breathworker, becomes more meaningful and fulfilling when it is guided by the principles of service. In the act of service, we discover the true essence of humanity – the capacity to heal, inspire, and transform lives.
In conclusion, greatness is service. It is through giving and being of service that we tap into the source of our potential and creativity. We connect with an infinite wellspring of energy and inspiration that empowers us to navigate the challenges of our chosen path, just as I have throughout my 25-year journey as a therapist. So, let us remember that our true greatness is revealed in the service we provide to others, for in that act, we connect not only with our deepest selves but with an infinite source of creativity and love that can change the world.
With heartfelt compassion and dedication,
